this is my first time building a pc and im not sure if this is the best build i can do for $1000. Please if u can improve it make it on pcpartbuilder. I also need windows 10. The pc is for cs go, battlefield 1, and gta5. it needs to run cs go at around 300 fps and the others at 60 fps.

I would recommend the Zotac gtx 1060 6gb mini only because it has remained at its normal price. It has only one fan so it will be noisier than some and you won't have a lot of overclocking head room but it performs quite well. I don't like the 3gb vram models but they serve their niche.

wraith cooler are great value for money.
1050ti 4gb is better than 1060 3gb.

i know that but 3gb isn't much of futureproof as the games demand more memory. So 3gb model falls short at some places and will continue to do so. that is the reason it is not recomended.
3gb model have about 200 less cuda cores then 6gb where the price diffrence isn't much.

Nothing really is futureproof, i mean we thought a pc that cost 3000 dollars in 2012 would be future proof for a long time, but that wasn't the case, saving as much money now could lead to you getting the next best thing that comes out within the next few years as the current batch of graphics cards will become obsolete eventually

it does not mean you have to buy something that will will be obselete just next year.
futureproof does not mean it will last forever or your lifetime
it measn it will last 4-5 years may be with some minor upgrades.
and a pc built in 2012 for 3k would do good enough now. it won't play all the major games but it will play aot of less demanding games. and you can easily put a new gpu in there to get better fps. like a 1050. which about $200.

why are so confident that the 3gb model of the 1060 will be obsolete next year? it may take a bit longer for it to become obsolete. If that model would be obsolete within two years of release then why would nvidia release it in the first place, in my opinion they released this model to offer a more affordable version of the 1060 for those that can't spare the 70 to 100 dollar difference for the 6gb version
