Turned out I had a a bad graphics card, popped a different one in and the problems immediately ceased. Thanks for the input guys.

Hey all, I just finished my Ryzen build and am running into some problems. It boots into windows and at first glance everything runs fine, but whenever I try to start up a game, the system shuts off completely. I've tried to look around for someone else with the same problem, but to no avail...
