    drivers are up to date, i havent reseated the card as said earlier, when slowing down clocks and voltage it goes away, with the monitor flicker coming into effect :D not sure if theres anything to do except change monitor, this is a tv monitor thats atleast 16 years old

    so it appears after bringing down the speed and voltage it doesnt happen, at one point it changed back to default settings for some reason and it happened again, but with the custom clocks and changes it seems to have stopped happening

    thermaltake toughpower grand 750W CPU hovers around 60-68c GPU 83-85c (~78c after tuned edit*) at full load with Heavyload its also the GPU fans that go 100% when it happens slight little edit, ive decided to bring down the clocks and undervolt the card, i will post back if its fixed

    Bit of a dumb question: Could it be my ram? i use dual channel memory 2 sticks of 4gb and 2 of 2gb (12gb) , they are preety old, could these by any chance be the trigger?

    ive come to the conclusion that this is a Motherboard issue. soundcard , fans speeds etc. other forums have considered it a MB or PSU problem, in my case its the motherboard, 12+ year old asrock z68 pro3 motherboard. you may experience a simmilar issue.

    that clicking sound may be the hard drive, if its not powered then it could be a problem. by clicking, does it sound more like crakling or boiling? if so the PSU is under too much load.

    is it a new PSU? if its fan isint spinning this probablly means that the fan broke down over stress, like a power surge, this could happen on older PSUs since those probablly didint have any protection againts it. The PSU fan should spin all the time by what i remember.
