I guess some questions that would help me debug this are: Do the reset pins on the M/B have any linkage to the psu M/B connector pins (green and black cables)? Given that my PC runs Windows without any issues, the potential RAM problem can be eliminated?

Even if I use Windows menu Restart button it's not going to restart... The problem is with the M/B Furthermore, the CMOS battery is good (when I turn my pc on and off the time and BIOS settings are saved)

Intel G3258, everything is compatible yes. Board is MSI Z87-G43 To Add: The O/S is installed and the PC runs without problems, Windows Boots fine and everything works.
