[SOLVED] How to undervolt Phenom II without using BIOS ?

After some digging, I've come to the conclusion that trying to find older versions of AMD Overdrive isn't gonna work because of the reason Rogue Leader explained. So unless someone got any another method, I think we hit a dead end. But if you do have another motherboard, the info I'm gonna...

[SOLVED] How to undervolt Phenom II without using BIOS ?

That's sadge. I thought there must be something, that someone knows about, here, that could help in this situation, which I couldn't find online as I don't really know how to dig up old relevant searches/websites, I tried my best tho. So should I even try finding older version of Overdrive or...

[SOLVED] How to undervolt Phenom II without using BIOS ?

Mobo - Asus M2N68-AM Plus @Rogue Leader Being passive aggresive was not my intent. I never said I wouldn't provide any further deatils, I just meant those specific details. Because it would steer the conversation to another direction. It has happened before and will happen again, because it's...

[SOLVED] How to undervolt Phenom II without using BIOS ?

My bios doesn't have the option to undervolt the cpu. The only option I could find was "Power Saving mode", which did undervolt it a little bit, which helped with a situation I'm dealing with it but it's not fully fixed. So I'm looking for a way to undervolt my CPU properly. I've tried 2...

[SOLVED] Would removing the CMOS, revert the bios back to it's default version?

@Karadjgne There is a difference. That's a plus and se2, different names, not different versions like some GB mobo, for ex: Same name r1, same name r2, same name r3 and so on. All I can say is "I'm not one of those people". If even after all this time, you think I'm an idiot, then that's on...

    My post was deleted

So I made a post few hours ago I think. It was deleted and the reason given was that it is a duplicate post. There was no way to contact the mods directly so I had to make this post. First of all, it wasn't a duplicate post. The other thread that mods maybe been talking about went a little off...

[SOLVED] Would removing the CMOS, revert the bios back to it's default version?

What are you talking about mate? First of all, slow down and check or at least type properly. There were no different revesions of this motherboard.

[SOLVED] Would removing the CMOS, revert the bios back to it's default version?

@Karadjgne Well, that's actually good. Cause I'm not trying to make my system buggy just for the fun of it. But changing the version would change things, except the bug fixes, so that's just good.

[SOLVED] Would removing the CMOS, revert the bios back to it's default version?

The motherboard I'm using is Asus M2N68-AM Plus. When trying to downgrade the bios via Asus EZ Flash utility (I download different versions of bios I could find), the ones that were incompatible showed this error - "ROM ID in the file is incompatible with existing BIOS!", the ones that were...

[SOLVED] Would removing the CMOS, revert the bios back to it's default version?

That won't work. I've already tried the exact same version. But just so you don't yell at me, I went ahead, downloaded it and tried, no it still doesn't work. I even found a version 5.07.01 from AMI themselves, you can say I stumbled upon it somehow. I don't have number like 238, 241, like on...

[SOLVED] Would removing the CMOS, revert the bios back to it's default version?

Nope @CountMike Afudos just refuses to work even after finding a very new version of it somehow. I'm trying some other methods meanwhile. If you have other suggestions let me know. It gives that 32/64 bit error, meaning it can only work on 32 bit systems as mine is 64 bit. For those reading...

[SOLVED] Would removing the CMOS, revert the bios back to it's default version?

@CountMike @Master Djoza Hey guys I wanted to ask you if you knew how to install an older version of the bios. Cause when I try to do that mobo doesn't let me and gives me an error "the version is older than one that's installed" Is there a warkaround for this?
