    Question Updating bios

So I’ve got everything working. Thanks for the reminder of chipset drivers. I suppose I’ll wait to update to the most recent till I upgrade again or have problems down the line. To answer your question the board is an Asrock B450 itx fatality. I’ve updated to version 4.20

    Question Updating bios

In an effort to delay spending on an entirely new build I’ve made the decision to upgrade my current gaming rig. I’ve purchased a 5700x to replace my 3600x. I have updated my bios to support the new cpu. My question is should I just update to the absolute most recent version or just stick with...

    Question Cooler for Ryzen 5700x

With the Ryzen 5 3600x having a TDP of 95 watts, is it safe to assume that the stock cooler that came with the 3600x is sufficient for the newer Ryzen 7 5700x which has a TDP of 65 watts?

Build Advice To upgrade or not to upgrade?

So, micro center near me has some power color RX 7600 fighter for 269$. Also planning on upgrading ram to 32GB. It’s on sale for 50$ for dual channel 2x16 sticks. Should I be worried about the speed or is 3-3200mhz acceptable?

Build Advice To upgrade or not to upgrade?

Yes I live near a Microcenter. Currently the board is Asrock B450 fatality (Mitx). I’d like to keep it cheap. If the 3600x is still viable and a gpu upgrade would be worth it I would prefer that route Instead of a new build.

Build Advice To upgrade or not to upgrade?

I currently run: Ryzen3600x 16GB DDR4 3000mhz Vega 56 Red Dragon RMX 750 PSU 1.5TB between two SSD’s Honestly the rig still runs okay. It does drop frames randomly in 2042 (battlefield). My question is would you upgrade CPU, GPU, or new build. Thanks for any input. I play at 1080p resolution.

Question Precision 3430 small form factor

Hmmm, disconcerting. The one I found comes with an i5-8600, 16GB ddr4 2666 ram 256GB SSD and windows 10 installed. Maybe I will need to look for an optiplex with those components to make it a little easier.

Question Precision 3430 small form factor

So question is that I’m thinking of picking one up for cheap to convert into a gaming rig for step son. I want to upgrade the gpu to a 580, I know the current psu is underpowered. Would it be better to transplant to a larger case and upgrade the psu without much fuss. Or are these machines too...

Thank you for the clarification on NVME. So taking everyone’s recommendations into account, between $300-$275 would be a fair asking price. Correct?

    [SOLVED] 3600x memory support

It is my understanding that the 3600x cpu can support 3600mhz ram. Does a b450 board or any motherboard for that matter limit or determine ram compatibility when reaching these speeds? Or is it strictly cpu bound?

    [SOLVED] 1080p Gaming PC

That is a good build. I didn’t see anything pertaining to ram. Just make sure it’s ddr4 and at least 3200mhz, preferably at least 16 GB as well. Any top tier psu from the manufacturers you’ve listed will do and perhaps stay within 600-650 Watts. Both of the SSD’s listed are pretty close in...

    [SOLVED] 1060 6GB Xtreme Edition + NZXT H500 airflow

If it makes you feel better I happen to have a Vega 56 red dragon shoe horned into a h200i. Thermals are okay. I did however put new fans in the front of the case to help with air flow.
