Replace the board. It'd probably be cheaper to buy a new one however.

Send it back. This could potentially put all your other hardware at risk and even if it's not the card. Better than if it was and you have another than be $800 out of pocket when it potentially kills the rest of your system.

I would recommend replacing it. This is generally indicative of the touch screen failing.

That is definitely covered by a warranty. However, I'd say the display cable is either bad or loose. If they won't cover it they're normally pretty easy to swap out providing you've had some previous experience is Assembly / Disassembly of a laptop.

It's possible it's your motherboard but it's unlikely. Unplug the systems fans except the CPU fans and see if that stops it. If it does you have a bad fan. However, it's happened a few times where there's been a bad "Batch" so to speak of PSU's on the market.

Sounds like the driver board inside the monitor has cooked itself. Test it on another monitor but I'd say it's most likely the monitor has gone faulty.

Try flashing it onto a USB that's 4gb or less. Memtest86 has been known although rare to play up on some drives larger than 4gb.

If you're trying to do what I think you're trying to do wouldn't a router or a range extender be a better option?
