No BitLocker for me. The fTPM shouldn't be related to any type of performance issues, somehow it still is for many people.

See that's the thing, no one knows. It's something I'd never be able to find out, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. The hotfixes I've mentioned seem to do the job for now, for most people at least.

Other people have tried this in other threads. Most possible causes have been considered and none of them bring an answer. It's such an odd issue which makes it hard to diagnose.

I can confirm your issue is most likely the fTPM. I have posted a thread here, explaining it to my knowledge and how I fixed it. If you're on Windows 10, and are not using BitLocker, the only thing that would happen after disabling it is the fact that you'd need to reset your log-in password...
