going to upgrade my graphics for gtx 980 i currently have gigabyte 990fxa ud5 motherboard so for gtx 980 and fx 9590 will 990fxa ud5 is good or should i look for asus crosshair v formula z

i have gigabyte 990fxa ud5 motherboard so only amd processors are supported not intel so cant i get smooth gameplay on fx 9590 and gtx 970 sli i also have asus rog swift pg278q 144hz gsync monitor

planning to get two gtx 970 sli and amd fx 9590 will corsair hx1000i be enough or should i go with corsair ax1200i

so i have planned finally to get gtx 970 sli for 1440p for my asus rog swift monitor can i play all games at ultra with no lags on 144hz very smooth gameplay.

can you tell me benefits of 2way sli over 3way sli and also benefits of 3way sli over 2way sli for 1440p gaming on asus rog swift monitor please tell me both

will the performance also effect on gaming if i go 3way sli over 2way sli

i hope i wont get any problems with 3way sli like others said scaling is poor and many said 2way sli is better than 3way sli in gaming so still should i go with 3way sli or go with 2way sli the main thing is i want to play games for maximum performance and want to play all games with least issues
