My hyper 212 evo makes a very slight rattling noise no matter what speed it is at. If I press down the fan to slow it then the rattling seems to stop. It makes this noise even when it is not attached to the metal heatsink. I don't know if this is normal fan behaviour or just my OCD.
Ok yeah, I noticed that after playing Minecraft for a while on my SSD, the noise seems to stop. I also noticed the noise immediately starts again once I load a game off the Hard Drive, and it does not stop. I've looked it up and it seems like it would be bearing issues. I bought it with Scan and...
As I only have an SSD at the moment I probably won't return the drive for a while, if at all. The best way I can describe the noise is like when you turn on one of those really big old CRT TVs and it emits that really high pitched noise that adults can't hear.
ok, it stopped but when I next booted it up it started doing it again. I noticed something on the circular part of the drive (no idea what it's called), is this meant to be there?
I have a Seagate 500gb 7200rpm HDD (ST500DM002), and after installing some quieter fans I can hear a high pitched noise coming from it. I can only hear it well if I point my head in a certain direction and it is one of those noises that only younger people can hear. Is there something wrong and...
Hi,
When running my 4670K in high performance mode (always 3.8ghz) on the stock cooler while playing borderlands 2, my cpu core temps go up to 75 degrees. At idle, at around 800mhz, it runs at around 35 degrees. Are these temps normal?
OP, the answer is definitely your board. I literally replaced mine, the exact same one as yours, last week and got a Sabertooth. I had the exact same issue as you- after a while of playing, or even a minute in depending on the cpu intensity of the game, my framerate would drop abysmally...
