Yes, it is. I had just opened a MegaSync account and was in the process of backing up the data online. About 5% made it up there before the HDD stopped getting detected.

Thank you all for your advice. I've decided to take your advice and offload these cards on someone who CAN properly use them. If, in the future, a PhysX card becomes necessary, I can always buy one then.
