Looking for a cheap laptop [$450]

I am looking one for the same price actually. Want it as a 2nd laptop for working while traveling, bringing out, connecting to tv etc.. will be monitoring this thread :)

Tablets for kids

depending on the kids age I would probably just get them a cheap generic one from tesco or something until they are more of an age where they can have more valuable things without breaking them :)

Buy windows 8 now or wait for Windows 10?

I'd buy 8 and then get free upgrade to 10 to be honest. 8 is obviously cheaper now than 10 will be when it gets launched
