I just built a PC with this guy and I am having an issue with the ethernet not being detected? the cable works on my other PC so I am confused as to what could be causing this issue I ran all the CMD scans I could find reset modem and router uninstalled the network adapter which I cant reinstall...

Msi z690 pro A and 750w evga. However I plugged in and the pc booted and works but I now have two new odd issues. The mobo ez debug cpu light is a solid red and my pc cannot connect to the internet with ethernet.

Just bought one of these and it seems on the motherboard there are 2 8 pins for the cpu and the old 8 pin I used won’t fit in. Do I need a new cable and if so which one 'cos I can’t seem to find anything online ?

It is definitely a dual link I can check just by looking if the holes are separated on the cable correct?
