So I went to Crucial.com and did the search on that MOBO, and it came up with a bunch of options. I went back to the ASUS MOBO site and did a search on the RAM and it only shows two options as compatible for Crucial (oddly 4000 and 4400 speeds, being 16GB x2). Not that I'm not willing to do...

Well, I was thinking as far as slots go, that I may want one in the future for a new SSD. I probably won’t be overclocking anything, if I’m honest. I currently have the stock cooler that came with my i5-6500 Skylake CPU.

I guess my main reason for wanting it is future proofing, but it IS more than I would prefer to pay. I figure if I have to buy new may as well go all the way with 32. If y’all say it’s not worth the gain right now then maybe I should just go with DDR4 after all.
