if you want value for money I guess 144hz 1080p , you wont actually find any difference when using 1440p its almost the same, it will just lower your FPS for no reason, go for 144HZ because it's alot better than 60HZ actually. but for 240 i didnt try it before

I am from Egypt too, I going to buy the Y540 gtx 1660 ti one with the same CPU , I guess 10 th generation wont make a real difference, and I am sure that it wont have the same laptop design like Y540 with a great cooling temprature anyways its your choice

It's a real famous problem with laptops , and the reason of this is mostly a design flaw, I experienced what you said with my lenovo laptop but I saved it with glue XD

What kind of laptops is yours? and when you switch it on, do you hear fan noise I mean like the laptop works but the screen is black? did you crash your laptop or opened it? you are not giving much information to help you, if you dont know, just send it to Maintenance

I think lenovo legion Y540 and Y740 is great for 2020 with rtx 2060 or gtx 1660 ti and value for money actually. Its well built with no henge problems from a design flaw like most of lenovo laptops. also it 144hz refresh rate
