[SOLVED] PC keeps trying to boot from M2 SSD instead of HDD

Ah, that might be what it is. I think it's using port 1, cos I have 2 HDD's plugged in, and I think port1 is used for my HDD with the OS on it. So should I try switching the ports and then try the SSD again?

Right, I can see the Windows Boot Manager now that I've removed the SSD, but once I plug it back in, I don't see that

[SOLVED] PC keeps trying to boot from M2 SSD instead of HDD

The only options I get in the boot order are my HDD and my disk drive and nothing else. I can see the SSD when I go into the advanced settings, where it's set to boot 2nd after the HDD which is set to 1st.

[SOLVED] PC keeps trying to boot from M2 SSD instead of HDD

No, I've definitely checked and the Toshiba HDD is always #1 in the boot order, but the system keeps running the SSD first.

[SOLVED] PC keeps trying to boot from M2 SSD instead of HDD

It just comes up saying "operating system missing" and that's it. What is it you'd need specifically? I'm quite new to PC's, is there any way for me to get you the full spec?

Hi, I've just installed a new M2 SSD into my PC but have yet to clone my OS over from my HDD, but the PC keeps trying to boot from my SSD even though the HDD is set to run first in the boot order. Can someone help please?
