cause I found a really good deal for the z170a pro but it doesn’t support the i7-7700k but is it worth just buying a 39$ skylake to upgrade the bios and support the kabylake?

On the bios chip on the mobo, is it by any chance soldered or not? Can’t seem to find this info anywhere lol
