[SOLVED] 32 GB MicroSD Card filesystem got corrupted. Asks formatting. Any chance to recover data before?

If the USB port itself working correctly but the card disappears, then you need HDDSuperClone + power relay. It can do the trick: resets the card when that disappears.

[SOLVED] 32 GB MicroSD Card filesystem got corrupted. Asks formatting. Any chance to recover data before?

It's your forune that CHKDSK doesn't handle raw drives because it just worsen the things in most cases. Forget about Active@ / Aomei / BPlan / Disk Drill / EaseUs / iBeeSoft / iBoySoft / Minitool / RecoverIT / Stellar 'cause all of them is an overmarketed crapware. First rule of thumb: never...

    [SOLVED] Strange data recovery issue

Ok, I wasn't sure about what's missunderstandable in my comment as English is not my native language. :) The living speech (or hands + feet pantomime :D) always the best with tones, mimicry actions, nonverbal gestures, etc. You're absolutely right about the virtual partition and about the...

Question Laptop hard drive file recovery

It's not clear / straightfoward what you try to say, please take screenshots and show us in pictures! If I'm right, it is a simple permission issue (assuming the showing hidden files option is on): Google for "take ownership", install the reg file to the right click menu and apply on the...

    [SOLVED] Strange data recovery issue

It's possible, I used Disk Drill only once, years ago but failed so I am not following that software how is evolving... I just said that if we disconnect a MyBook or MyPassport drive from it's [de]crypter board and attach it to the PC directly on SATA connection, it shows itself uninitialized...

    [SOLVED] Strange data recovery issue

Did the drive spin when the accident happened? If not, you have a good chance (if it's an older WD model). WD enclosures hardware encrypted in default, so it is normal behavior if the drive shows up in disk management as uninitialized and no data found by any software. Buy the very same...

[SOLVED] HDD clicking noise and no head parking

No, CS drives park the heads on the inner track and they have no parking ramps. BTW you can't fix it 'cause it's internal hardware error (it can't read the platters due to weak heads, preamp, etc.), and you just did worsen the scenario with the opened drive. Take it to a reputable data...

Question Toshiba External Drive not working

I'm assuming your drive's USB3.0 connector failing on it's "extended" side (the extra pins for 3.0 speed). That's why I mentioned to do that with USB2.0 cable, because in that setup the badly contacted 3.0 pins and data lines not used. The best scenario is that if you can connect it directly to...

Question Toshiba External Drive not working

You can try connect the drive with USB2.0 cable to USB3.0 port (or to external powered USB HUB), because the USB2.0 ports doesn't provide enough current for feeding the USB3.0 devices (USB2.0: 500 mA, USB3.0: 900 mA). USB3.0 devices can operate in USB2.0 mode: if you're a lucky guy, you can save...

[SOLVED] Can my 9 year old motherboard support m.2 ssd?

I understand. I forgot / didn't consider that my system boot drive is a SATA 850 Pro, I use the NVME 950s only for storage (large files for work, virtual machines).

[SOLVED] Can my 9 year old motherboard support m.2 ssd?

I think speed is just one aspect of more - if he 'll buy new rig (or laptop) in the future he doesn't have to buy new SSD just transfer the existing (except if the SSD in the laptop is surface mounted), and 'll able to use @ full speed. For now, additional advantage of the lower speed is that...

[SOLVED] Can my 9 year old motherboard support m.2 ssd?

The magic words are: "BIOS mod". Not the exact same but my older, BIOS modded P67 mobo runs fine with 2x Samsung 950 Pro NVMe SSDs.

[SOLVED] How To recover files from a dead HDD?

If you got the multimeter let me know and I 'll post the guide to measure the PCB. Again: it's not invasive in any way, not occurs damage to the board or the data. What multimeter model is it exactly?
