My friend has a i7-6700. While benchmarking his monitor only got up to 3.7ghz. Well i saw the i7-6700 spec that when it runs 1 core it would run up to 4.0 Ghz? 2 core 3.9 3 core 3.8 4 core 3.7. Is there anyway to run all cores at 4 Ghz? Thanks!

My budget is limited. For example if i get the 144hz monitor and the game that im playing produces only 60-70 fps there would be any screen tearing? and using a 970/390 card in a 60hz IPS monitor is a waste?

I have a r9 390 gpu and i want to upgrade my 1600x900 monitor into a 1080p monitor. I heard that IPS monitors produce good image quality than its brother TN panels though TN panels have high refresh rate. Since i have r9 390 and im going to play some AAA games like witcher 3, fallout 4 etc etc...
