I knew I was going to fix it literally 5 minutes after posting. Hours of troubleshooting gets me nowhere but after a long post, it's an easy fix. Since the drivers originally installed on the first USB slot I had it in, when I switched to another it obviously wouldn't work. Don't be me.

My bad for the late response. I haven't tried anything yet. I was fine with doing a clean install, because at this point I just want the system to be working well. I was trying to avoid having to use a boot media, but if I have to then I might as well do a clean install as well.
