The only reasonable explanation I could see would be thermal throttling. The components in the Laptop probably get hot enough that they down clock themselves - limiting performance. Let's wait to see who else chimes in though.

You can't. The only way to have all the lighting under 1 eco-system is to have all components from same/ compatible brands. This is something you need to watch out for while you're buying your components. Unfortunately your only option is to download the lighting program for each one...

Even if you did manage to OC it, I doubt it would give you any notable performance in games. I think you're due for an upgrade.

With no thunderbolt 3, the E-GPU is out of question. With the integrated graphics you might be able to get by playing some games that are not that demanding in terms of graphics but whether any of it would even be playable I'm not sure.

You need to be careful not to fry your board by overloading those addressable headers. What is the amperage for the headers? Nice! The build looks fine to me. As for the humidity, the only thing I can recommend is to invest in a small Dehumidifier for the room your PC is in. If you're going to spend over 1000$ on a pc, a couple hundred spent protecting it from humidity is well worth it in my opinion.

If it's strictly being used for the streaming/encoding, it should be fine. You may have to dial back settings a bit though if it doesn't run smoothly at first.
