Thank you. This issue has been resolved now too. Finally, I can start using the new build. It'll take some time to gain confidence in it being stable though. Thank you @DRagor @SkyNetRising @drivinfast247 @Lutfij for thinking along.

I'll check if the CPU error with 5 beeps still appears with 2 CPU_PWR cables in, or if it was an incident. Do I need to clear CMOS after adding the second cable or will it work right away?

Update: I've returned the MB and installed a different one. It POSTed the first very first time with the new MB. So, apparently it wasn't A PSU or CPU issue, but an MB issue ... However, when I put both CPU_PWR cables in the MB it gives 5 beeps. This is why I only have 1 cable from the PSU...

I removed the 8 to 8 pin cable from the PSU to the CPU_PWR2 so only the 8 to 4+4 pin cable is connected from the PSU to CPU_PWR1 but, the issue still persists unfortunately. I do appreciate all the help so far, thank you all 🙏🏻

Yes, that's what think too: it's either the CPU or MB but not the PSU. I used flashback to update the BIOS.

I've tested both scenarios and this is the conclusion: the PSU turns on with both CPU_PWR1 and CPU_PWR2 cables in the MB, but only without the CPU in the socket the PSU turns on without any CPU PSU cable in the MB, but with the CPU in the socket So, the PSU won't turn on when at least one of...

Correct, I do not have RAM in the MB right now. I thought it made sense to add RAM once this issue has been resolved.

Thank you. I have the 4+4 pin side in the MB just like the 8 pin one with the CPU label. I've added the 10 pin cable to the slot below the 18 pin slot, but unfortunately the issue is still there ...

I've hooked the 10 pin connector to the spot below the 18 pin connector, as you've mentioned and as you can see in this new picture. It's only written on one end. I'm unable to determine any difference between the end besides the label "CPU" on one of the ends.

I have the 4+4 in the MB and the opposite side with 8 pins in the PSU. The other CPU cable has 8 pins on both ends, but is unused right now. The issue still persists, unfortunately.

They do have "CPU "markings on them, as you can see in this picture. Does it matter which side goes in the PSU, and which goes into the MB?
