    Event viewer now shows Event ID 18 which leads me to believe it's a faulty CPU.

    What I also find weird is that the crashes occur more often during more light gaming like Valorant and League of Legends rather than heavier games like RDR2 or Elden Ring.

    To clarify, I have not upgraded yet, I am just waiting on the PSU and noticed weird behavior from the pc in the meantime.

    Hi, thanks for the response. I ordered a PSU as I've been meaning to upgrade anyway, however, I noticed that after another one of these restarts the event viewer showed no new events. Could that mean there's more to it than just the PSU? Thanks in advance!

    I just found out it's actually a 550w psu. turbo-x value series 550 W is its name. I am using 64 bit windows and i'm overclocking my gpu to 1400 core and 2250 memory from 1340 core and 2000 memory. Also I haven't had any problems with other games.

    Programs that might crash during gameplay are discord, chrome, steam or whatever program i might have open at the time. Also, I'm not sure what you mean by upgrade build, but i have changed the gpu since i got the PC from a gtx 1050ti to the rx 580.
