[SOLVED] Can't OC ram past 2133MHz (Cleared CMOS + Enabled D.O.C.P)

Yea I think you’re right, I appreciate the help through that and now knowing to look up QVL lists. Planning on picking up a higher end third gen CPU later this year so the ram would be good to keep considering I’d be upgrading Mb for that.

[SOLVED] Can't OC ram past 2133MHz (Cleared CMOS + Enabled D.O.C.P)

ok, so an option that could be easier is to buy the proper compatible sticks of ram for the MB and resell these, don’t think I’d have an issues selling them. while typing this I’m attempting to OC the ram and have found success at a maximum of 2666mhz.

[SOLVED] Can't OC ram past 2133MHz (Cleared CMOS + Enabled D.O.C.P)

The GEN 1 mb I have states it is compatible with up to 2nd gen ryzen and a max of 3200mhz DDR4 Ram. I haven't been trying to push the ram past 3200mhz when attempting the OC in the bios.

[SOLVED] Can't OC ram past 2133MHz (Cleared CMOS + Enabled D.O.C.P)

First time hearing about QVL and after a quick search, it seems to be that I have the C18 4x8gb Corsair over the list having the C16 4x8gb model for the motherboard. Does this mean that the RAM memory is locked?

[SOLVED] Can't OC ram past 2133MHz (Cleared CMOS + Enabled D.O.C.P)

I have all 4 RAM slots filled. If I change it to anything but 2133MHz it just doesn't boot, I've even tried ramping the Voltage to 1.4 also.

[SOLVED] Can't OC ram past 2133MHz (Cleared CMOS + Enabled D.O.C.P)

As the title states, there is not much more to say, I just don't know what else I can do or if it is a bottleneck of some sort with the system. CPU is overclocked to 4.2GHz with no issue but if I change to ram to anything but 2133MHz it just does not boot. Specs; AMD Ryzen 7 2700X Eight-Core...

Yes I've only used the new cables that came with the new PSU and I have used all of the cables I currently have. I did try old cables also but nothing has worked.

[SOLVED] Upgraded PSU now system will not turn on with SSD plugged in.

Hey, I went from a 650w EVGA psu to an 850w, the pc works perfectly except for when I plug in the sandisk ssd that I have all of my games on. I have changed all of the psu cables for the new ones with the upgrade and I’ve even plugged in a SATA cable just for the SSD but no luck. PC turns on...
