Yea. Bios recognizes all 8GB. If I change motherboard slots it still does the same thing. I really dont think its the motherboard. My friends ram also did the same when using 2 sticks in 2 slots or 4 sticks in all slots. Whatever I have it cuts it in half.

Yea I also thought it was a bad socket. It seems weird that it sees all 8GB in bios and when I put in new ram it sees all. I have 4 slots with only 2 sticks of ram. If I put them in the other two slots I still have the same result.

Alright thanks. The only reason I want to upgrade is to get better performance. I want to get one or the other right now then save up for the additional one I need.

Yes try to run only one monitor and see if it gets cooler. 4 monitors for a 1050 is alot especially when gaming. If thats not the case check CPU temps. If they are also high you case might just need better airflow.

I think it is because a 1050 is running 4 monitors. Try only one and see if results inprove.

Sounds like the NVIDIA gpu is bad if you can use the intel one.

Is there some bottlenecking? Your specs shouldnt but you never know. I use NZXT CAM to test that.
