    Poor performance even with upgrade?...

Hey ramlethal, Though your advice is helpful, I already have considered those factors. I have my fans running at around 80ish percent and my temps are well within the proper bounds, plus monitoring shows no throttling. I've done clean installs for my GPU drivers and update it consistently. And...

    Poor performance even with upgrade?...

Hey all, So I have a system as follows- GTX 1060 3GB MSI 990FXA Gaming Mobo FX-8350 at 4.4ghz, 1.38v (upgraded from an FX-6300 at 4.5 ghz 1.38v or so) Patriot Viper 8gb DDR3-1600 RAM I upgrade to the fx-8350 with the understanding it would virtually eliminate any bottlenecking. However, I tried...

    Upgrading AMD CPU...

Hey all, So I've had a GTX 1060 3gb, 8gb ram, and an fx-6300 running for almost two years now. Even at 4.5ghz I've noticed that my cpu is, well, pretty bad. I saw that the FX-8350 is on sale for $80, and from my understanding a GTX 1060 won't bottleneck with it especially with an overclock. Is...

    Recommended OC to reduce bottleneck?

Hello all, I have an FX-6300 and a GTX 1060 3GB, and I'm really noticing stuttering in not only games but sometimes in general activities as well, so I would like to know a good overclocking setting I can use. I have a MSI 990FXA Gaming motherboard and an ENERMAX ETS-N31 cooler. One main reason...

How to test these individual components?

Hello all, Yesterday I bought a lot of components (mostly from prebuilt systems like Optiplexes and the like). However, I'm having difficulty figuring out how to test the components individually such as the hard drives and DVD RW drives. I'm not sure if the included PSUs are functional and the...

Memory constantly running at full capacity for no reason?

I believe the issue was because of the infamous E2200 Killer Networking driver.

Memory constantly running at full capacity for no reason?

Ah, I believe I've found the problem. The non-paged pool is 7.3gb large, no wonder. Now I have to see what drivers are having memory leaks-which may not be easy, but hopefully will solve the problem.

Memory constantly running at full capacity for no reason?

Alright, this shows the processes, but again, this is after I rebooted after a system hang and the system is still running okay. I'm not sure if I'd be able to launch the utility again once the memory use ramps up again.

Memory constantly running at full capacity for no reason?

Hey all, Recently, about over the last 2 months or so, my memory has been acting very odd. Usually, for a few hours after startup, the system runs fine and smoothly. However, sometimes after spending about 2 hours of operation, the memory starts running at 99%, making the system VERY...
