Hello, recently I updated my iPhone 5 (GSM) to iOS 10, and now it's requesting that I install a sim card to continue setup. The problem is, I've always used the device like an iPod and I've never has a sim installed. Is there any way I could downgrade to iOS 9 maybe? I have access to a Windows...

Does the noise seem to correspond with things happening on your computer? Eg: Playing games makes a different noise than idling

What kind of power supply do you have? Your graphics card is likely drawing too much power when it's put under-load.

I can't think of any reason why it would have happened... weird.

Do you have another graphics card that you can try? If you can access windows with said graphics card, I'd recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the regular graphics card drivers and then testing it out again.

Can you get into the Bios?

It's probably the RAM hungry chrome then. Maybe try temporarily uninstalling and seeing what kind of usage you get without it?
