The mobo did run with another CPU and didn't with my CPU on the same PSU (at the computer shop), same RAM in both cases, so I don't think it's my PSU, which btw is Corsair, or the RAM.

Thanks. I didn't bend any pins on either of the 3 CPUs - they wouldn't have given me a new one if i damaged a previous one. I also thought it might be the PSU, but it was tested in the workshop with their PSU and didn't run either, and the mobo did run with a different CPU.

It's a 600W Corsair, will check the exact model when i get home. But ... it was tested on 2 different PSUs with the same results.
