Question My brand new pc drops from 1000 fps to 20 constantly (I tried evey method)

The AMD app doesn't do anything to your Nvidia GPU. It only controls the AMD GPUs (in your case, the integrated graphics in your 7700x). If those settings have an effect on your games, it means that you have conflict problem between you integrated graphics and you discrete GPU (or you are using...

Question My brand new pc drops from 1000 fps to 20 constantly (I tried evey method)

Doesn't make much sense to me. You have an Nvidia card, so unless your monitor supports G-Sync AND you enabled it in the Nvidia control panel, FreeSync won't do anything. Moreover, event though you actually run with G-Sync on, it won't have any effect on your frame rate (especially at a higher...

Question My brand new pc drops from 1000 fps to 20 constantly (I tried evey method)

How do you get 1000 fps in Valorant with those specs? This CPU should bottleneck you at around 450 fps. And since you have a 180 Hz monitor, it's totally useless to run at a so high frame rate (some people say it improves the input latency but it's likely a placebo effect according to me). All...

Question BSOD, and PC will not factory reset ?

You are having a very specific problem and not giving much details. "I get blue screens and errors" is not enough. What are the errors? When do the blue screens happen exactly? Are you able to boot to Windows or do you systematically get the blue screen even before reaching the login screen...

Question Why doesn't my laptop shut down when the CPU gets too hot ?

What's surprising is that the CPU is loaded at 75% while only watching youtube. But it's an old CPU with only 4 cores so it might not take very much to load it. And laptop thermals are also not always great. With this CPU I assume it's an old computer. You could try to open it and blow out the...

Question Poor performance of GPU, flickering, stuttering and screen tearing

Whether or not this is the cause of your problems, get rid of the Gamemax PSU ASAP. This brand is rated as one the worst on every PSU Tier list. Replace immediately.

Question BSODs, and multiple apps are acting weird ?

If the BIOS update doesn't fix it (which is very likely), then I would bet on a motherboard issue. If you are running with XMP enabled, try to disable it and see if it gets better.

Question I installed new RAM and now PC takes like a minute extra time to boot ?

Although it's the upper limit, 1.4V is very standard for DDR5 expo kits. Almost all Corsair expo kits run at 1.4V, for example (XMP kits runs at lower voltage). It's certainly not "way over recommended". And if a kit has a profile set to 1.4V, setting it down to 1.35V is definitely not a good...

I agree with that. I have been using AMD CPUs since 2016 but I want Intel to stay competitive so we keep getting good chips. I don't understand why some people want "the other company" to get crushed. Competition is what motivates them to improve their products. Wishing the end of competition...

The hatred comments again. Some people really like to hate, it's even more fun for them than actually playing games. As others mentioned, this is a no news. Every electronic device needs to run in this temperature range. I don't even know why there is an article about this (beside triggering...

    Question System errors

AIDA64 stress test stopping because of a hardware issue is generally a RAM problem. Try disabling XMP and run with default RAM speed and timing. If it stops crashing it's because your system is not stable with the XMP profile settings. I wouldn't be surprised if an i5-14600kf paired with a b660m...

    Question System errors

Can you be more specific? What stress test did you run? What is the issue exactly? Game crashing to desktop, black screens, PC freezes, PC reboots? How do you compare win 10 and win 11? Did you install latest Windows updates, graphics and chipset drivers? How old is the PSU? Did you...

Yeah I think the extra cache reliefs some load on these chips since they need to request data from the memory at a much lower rate, so they run less hot.

Question Do you have experience with BeeLink as MiniPC for Linux?

I use a very similar mini-pc brand (Trigkey) as a web server with Rocky Linux 8 and it runs fine. Temp around 45c. However, we had some CPU temperature issues with a Dell mini-pc running with the same OS, but the exact same model running with Rocky 9 had no problems. Our hypothesis is that Rocky...

That’s not true. The X3D chips run hot when you load all the cores to 100%, but in gaming they run impressively cold. My 9800X3D rarely goes above 60c when gaming (it's most of the time in the 50-55c range).
