Hi,
Just built system on i5-14600kf with ASRock b660m steel legends ddr5 wifi and gettig issues like crushing games, stress test also didn’t pass(The hardware failure). On win 11 got dead screens with critical errors Kernel, on win 10 games are just closing after a while with/w/o any message, nothing critical on logs. Any thoughts?
System:
i5-14600kf
Fan cooler with 220tdp
ASRock b660m steel legends ddr5
Patriot 2x16 ddr5 6400
The rest from my old pc:
4070 super asus tuf
M2 kingston 1tb
750w Asus tuf

Before doing any apps (games, stressing) make sure you have a clean, updated and activated Windows install. Check all your hardware in settings and update drivers. Give it a few reboots let us know what the hardware is telling you.

Did all twice.. installed win 11 first, now tried 10th, better but still..

Can you be more specific? What stress test did you run?

What is the issue exactly? Game crashing to desktop, black screens, PC freezes, PC reboots?

How do you compare win 10 and win 11?

Did you install latest Windows updates, graphics and chipset drivers?

How old is the PSU?

Did you enable XMP?

test via Aida for all except gp
On win 11 we’re critical errors with reboots, on 10th just to desktop. All updates are done, drivers updated as well
Psu is 7monty old, xmp enabled

AIDA64 stress test stopping because of a hardware issue is generally a RAM problem. Try disabling XMP and run with default RAM speed and timing. If it stops crashing it's because your system is not stable with the XMP profile settings. I wouldn't be surprised if an i5-14600kf paired with a b660m was not stable with 6400MT/s memory clock speed.
