^ True. Also to add on to evan's comment. I wouldn't use really just for backup, but if you for instance need to move files between devices it's very convenient. They even have an API that you can build into your own apps, etc. to move files to and from.

Right click My Computer and select Manage, click on Disk Management If the drive is there right click and give it a drive letter.

Need more info/context... Have you changed out any parts recently? Any symptoms prior to this happening? Maybe for starters go into the BIOS and load default settings.

Just my opinion, but I would try to save up some more first. That GPU is pretty low end, as is the power supply, hard drive and mobo. If nothing else, upgrade the hard drive and power supply - any 250GB+ SATA 3.0 gb/s or better and maybe an antec earthwatts. Crossfire means having two AMD...

I hate to say it, but you most likely will need to upgrade that HDD and GPU, and dispose of the PSU. I'm a bit confused though, are you trying to upgrade your 9950 build or start fresh? What motherboard do you have? Maybe fill out this advice form...

Here's some ideas, not sure exactly though... Go into the BIOS and load default settings, then set the dvd drive to first boot device and disable secondary, etc, boot devices. You'll need to have a Windows disc to reformat it though. First though, make sure you've disconnected all peripherals...
