I just plugged it in and rebooted and it DOES show up in BIOS but when I got to boot Windows, BIOS screen just hangs and never goes into Windows 10. When I unplugged the bad drive Windows 10 booted fine.

It is currently not detected in BIOS.

Windows 10 installed on C drive (ssd). HAD 3 standard drives as slaves and one stopped showing up. Windows won't start when it's plugged in, does when it's unplugged. What to do?

Are you absolutely sure the fans are working on your vid card? My pc is like a wind storm. 120mm front input, 90mm input from bottom, 120mm exhaust and two 120mm top exhausts.

NEVER go cheap on a PSU!!! It's the heart and soul of your pc. You should always use a highly qualified, highly reviewed (positively) and usually well known PSU. You installed a no name brand PSU?

Try reinstalling your CPU. Absolutely can't hurt anything and you never know....... After checking off all the things off the idiot list like, is everything plugged in like it's supposed to be.

I had same problem on a recent build and I had to reinstall my cpu. Just sayin......

Is the heatsink fan plugged into the fan port marked for CPU? Any fan port will spin that fan but if there is no fan plugged into the CPU fan port pc will think there is no hs fan and purposely not post.

Yeah, you know, I only think about the pc's I build which have great filtration and cooling. Guess I will kill the fan but just keep an eye on the temps the first few days just to be sure.
