I have the following.. i9 12900k CPU Kingston ValueRAM DDR5 4800MHz 32GB ASUS ROG STRIX Z690-F GAMING WIFI Hovedkort Bios shows the memory runs at 4800Mhz but CPU-Z says it is running at 4000Mhz. I can't find XMP profile in Bios even after updating it. Any help on how to make it run at 4800Mhz?

Update: I was recommended to do a DDU and this, along with installing the gpu driver without adrenaline seems to have solved the problem. Thanks everyone

I'll try that, but do you think it could be a GPU hardware issue? The GPU is still under warranty and I'd rather be without a PC for a few weeks than having a faulty card.

Thanks for the help. I took a chance and updated the bios, since then I haven't had a single crash. So maybe I had done something in Bios that was causing this issue. I'll keep an eye on it, and look into it again with your tips if it happens again.

Unfortunately I can't try that without building the system up again. I have taken out old PC parts and upgraded. I guess I have enough components to build up a pc just for testing but it's a lot of work. Guess that's the only way to know for sure, though?
