    Thanks for the quick replies. Are most of the wires made to handle constant heat 24/7 as long as the power is under that Wattage they can handle?

    you can't see it in the pic, but the Big Panel has a Breaker that has 50A (IIRC, could be 30A) that says Main. I was thinking this is the main power for the appliances and stuff. I don't even know if it's "normal" to have an outlet dedicated for a side panel in the basement. I'm renting this...

    i'm not sure but i think the furnace used gas from consumers energy. i honestly haven't seen a breaker that looks like this from side panel. I don't even know how that works. it looks scary lol

    check out this image. this It seems like this outlet is the only thing that is connected to the side panel. Although this outlet is attached next to the Furnace, i don't think the furnace is connected to this.
