I can't help but think you need to revist this. The AOTS benchmark don't look right, the 480 is behind the 390, 390X and GTX980 in DX12.........I know this card is mid range and all that but it is 14nm with a revised chip design, surely it should be ahead of the last generation mid range cards...

It's 40% clock for clock and that's 40% over AMD's new Excavator microarchitecture. If you compare it against something like Bulldozer or Piledriver CPU's (such as the FX 8350) Zen will be about 55 to 60% faster. If you look at some CPU graphs clock for clock Zen in theory will be on parity...

Anandtech once started including overclocked cards in it’s reviews starting with the GTX460 which Nvidia gave them at the same time as AMD lunched the HD6970 and were torn a new one by readers for doing it. Since then they only compare stock vs stock which is the fairest way IMO as Overclocking...

Chris, were you invited to the Nvidia press event in Texas? About time we saw some cards based of a new process, it seemed like we were going to be stuck on 28nm for the rest of time. As normal Nvidia is creaming it up in DX11 but DX12 performance does look ominous IMO, there's not enough gain...

The pixel density of a 4K screen is about the same as a high end 1080p smart phone, the picture quality of this must be stunning.

For a gaming monitor to be released these days that does not to come with Gsync or Freesync capability is very short sighted by LG. Would the inclusion of a Freesync enabled 1.2a displayport really have delayed or added considerable costs to this monitor, LG?
