I had a similar issue with a HDMI cable once before, It turns out one of the pins on the HDMI cable was pretty messed up and wasn't outputting sound correctly, after replacing the cable turned out to work again. So ensure that the HDMI cable isn't faulty. Here are some other quick...

Looking for best GPU for my PC

If you really are unsure about Over Clocking their are tons of informative guides here on toms hardware but you can also look online for videos on how to do so. If you still are uncertain you can purchase a OC'd card online for a bit more money than other cards.

AMD CCC can't detect monitor and VGA

Sounds like your video card drivers have corrupted, remember to always create a restore point when installing new drivers or even rolling back your drivers. What you can do is completely delete your current drivers using a driver sweeper then re-installing a compatible version of your drivers...

Do i really need a better MB & Ram

You should notice a performance increase if your mobo supports it which it does, and if you don't upgrade this I don't think you'll be able to support a new soundcard very well.

Monitor size vs Graphics card will it matter?

It can matter sometimes because their is a resolution difference between monitors and the jump from your old resolution to 1920x1080 is a bit high. but if its a higher resolution it'll have a harder time running at that resolution because it has render more pixels etc. If you notice poor...

    Dual graphic card or...?

Yea SLI 980 setup is pretty exspensive so I recommend a SLI 970 setup or even a r9 295x2 is perfectly fine and you can still get great performance.

    Dual graphic card or...?

Here is a quick reference for a performance comparison for single card and two GTX 980s http://images.hardwarecanucks.com/image//skymtl/GPU/GTX-980-SLI/GTX-980-SLI-30.jpg

    Dual graphic card or...?

You can't Crossfire/SLI radeon cards with Nvidia brand cards you can purchase the same card and crossfire it to get a performance but it wont work with crossing series and amd/nvidia. So you would need another GTX 980 to SLI it if you a powerful enough power supply which you do.

    Some Upgrade Tips?

It means it has more shaders than the other model. For example the GTX 560 vs GTX 560 Ti has a better shader ratio and well show better performance compared to the GTX 560

Help these temps too hot? / Please help me upgrade!

A full watercool system would be good for temps and frames, but they can be expensive if you have the money for it I would do it. Before making any big purchases you should look into good watercooling pumps etc, and make sure you know how to properly install them. their are tons of instructional...

Do i really need a better MB & Ram

Well that ram is being sold as a kit so, yes you would feel a change in performance due to it being same brand RAM and same clock speeds of ram. If you do end up purchasing that ram be sure to install it correctly. Hope this helped your issue with your RAM.

Help these temps too hot? / Please help me upgrade!

For your chosen parts on your list; Your chosen mobo has only 2 ram slots. I recommend using two 8GB DDR3 1600 sticks to get 16GB of RAM if you want best performance out of those two slots ( you can go higher if you'd like but you do only need 8GB of ram at 1600, but some people like to go to...
