My case is a Fractal Design Define 7 XL. It has a closed front, but I've loaded it with 3 noctua fans. Even with all panels open, the temperature only drops 2-3 degrees.

Hey there, I've been happily running an Asus TUF 4070 TI in my system. Today, I started a new game for the first time (the rumoured crappy-but-so-crappy-it's-good "Wanted: Dead"), and something occured that I've never seen before: my GPU, for just a few seconds, instantly shot to 83...

CB23 Single Core puts freq at 4925, temp is 62 It's the Prime95 AVX smallest FFTs on just a few cores that immediately shoots to 90

So is what I see normal? Even with a beefy cooler?

I'm running everything stock. My current temps are nothing to worry about? I was just surprised I could find a scenario in which it hit 90, even though it is a synthetic one.

Hey, was testing my 5900X under an NH-D15, and with CB R23 or Aida64 I can't push it past 72C on the hardest tests, which is good. But there is a game (Midnight Suns), which during saving, briefly (2 or 3 seconds) pushes it to 84. So I tested with prime95 AVX on a few cores (1-3) only and doing...

System passed memtest, Aida64 stressed and OCCT power tests since this happened. Not my first build, just very clumsy. Check second pic in slideshow as well.

How would I check? Would you replace the board?
