Does the whole system turn off or when you say "the 1060 turns off" do you mean the spinning fans or what?

Was it always this way or did it start suddenly? How did it perform on the stock cooler before you added the water cooler? It's possible you have a bad thermal/paste connection between the cooler and the CPU or even that your pump isn't working or something.

My motherboard has one CPU fan and one other fan header. I bought a silverstone fan distributor that takes a SATA power and all the fans plug into it, but now they all run full blast. I have a free 5 1/4 bay. Can someone direct me to the correct device that will let me control the fan speeds...

So I have been investigating a third box to be built on linux and using two to six 1070 but HHbulletcatcher is saying that won't work (or work well). Does anyone know why or have advice to steer me away from that approach?

What is the 1050ti expected to put out for ppd? They have single slot versions of those right? Would a 1050ti for PhysX only be better than a 1080 alone? Maybe I should add one to my rig for extra folding power. I had a 970 in there but it caused problems so I'm moving it to it's own box.

Well I have an 4790k with h100i cooler, 1080, 970, several hard drives, several fans trying to run off a 750watt EVGA g2 (gold). Perhaps I'm overloading it?

I need some tech support. My 970 and 1080 were going OK folding together, but then it would just stop folding and when I came back to the computer I was at the login screen. Folding had stopped. Assuming something was overheating I went to a simpler setup, and just left the 1080 in there...

OK New 1080 is in alongside the 970. No CPU folding, stock clocking, the control thing says I'm doing a million a day. I should finally be a decent producer for the team, I wish it had all come together prior to the competition :)

When I added my CPU the extra heat from the CPU made the GPU go slower so I lost more points than I gained with the CPU...Buuut I had both very much overclocked (970 from 1116 to 1492, and the 4790k from 4.0 to 4.5ghz). I wonder what it would all be like at stock speeds? Tonight my 1080 should...
