Hello. I'm having issues with my processor's temperatures. When I open any game, the temperature shoots up to 80-90 degrees centigrade.

I have a front fan pulling cool air into the case, a rear fan pulling hot air out of the case, and a Corsair H60 water cooler. There is also a fan on top of the case pulling hot air out.

My processor is an Intel i5 4690k

Please help!

Was it always this way or did it start suddenly? How did it perform on the stock cooler before you added the water cooler? It's possible you have a bad thermal/paste connection between the cooler and the CPU or even that your pump isn't working or something.

I checked the thermal paste, it was fine. I took off the water cooler and put the stock intel cooler on. Turns out the water cooler was broken/defective.
