Question Quadro fx 3700m causing laptop display backlight to not work

Thanks for your reply, I tried re-flashing the latest system bios, I also used ddu but no luck. I have done some research about flashing gpu bios onto the fx 3700m - do you think flashing the working fx 3770m's bios onto the bad one would change anything or is the problem to do with the card...

Question Quadro fx 3700m causing laptop display backlight to not work

Hello, I have the Dell Precision M6400 which originally came with a quadro fx 2700m. I upgraded it to the fx 3700m however it caused the display backlight to not work and I had to connect it to an external monitor. I have tried two displays so it's definitely this new gpu causing the problem...

[SOLVED] Elgato HD60 h.264 encoder question

hmm... I think I worded that part incorrectly sorry: I'm interested to know if the hd60 can save the h.264 video it encodes/compresses straight to disk - so the pc doesn't have to do any encoding or decoding. The hd60 S doesn't have this chip and sends raw video data to the pc so the pc has to...

[SOLVED] Elgato HD60 h.264 encoder question

Hi I've read a bit about how the Elgatos work but I still have a couple of questions about the game capture hd and hd60: Can you save the h.264 compressed video directly to disk to save decoding and re-encoding it? How does this work for elgato software and obs? (I don't need it for streaming...

Question Multiple files of 3.3gb on the same dvd - please help

I used MagicISO to make the ISO file - it said it was a multi-session disc and exported entire disc. I used DMDE, R-Photo(on the disc) and PhotoRec - they all find the same files as I can already open on the dvd. JPEGSnoop couldn't extract the image from a 3.3gb jpeg file. I tried Isobuster...

Question Multiple files of 3.3gb on the same dvd - please help

I have used recovery software "recover disc 2.0" on the disc, I can copy the non corrupt files fine but it doesn't even show the 3.3GB ones. Is there recovery software you could recommend that might recover the rest of the data or is it too corrupt to save? Thanks in advance

Question Multiple files of 3.3gb on the same dvd - please help

Thanks for the info, I have used the program for one of the 3.3GB JPG files. All values are "00" up to offset CE7993B0. After that there is a small amount of data. There is no "FF D8" header and after looking at a normal JPG file, it seems the 3.3GB one has the start of the data missing. Do you...

Question Multiple files of 3.3gb on the same dvd - please help

Hi all, just wondering if you can help me with copying my files of this dvd. I used it to store my old ipod photos (don't know why I did that) but for some reason after a certain point the files are all around 3.3GB -there are nearly 300 files like this. The filenames and dates are are shown but...

Question How does gpu memory bus width work?

Thank-you very much, I just have one more thing to ask: It seems that the 256mb version has the chip missing - there's a space where the chip should have gone - I know you said it's nothing to do with chips but would it be possible that the single chip could be connected to only half of the...

Question How does gpu memory bus width work?

Hi all, I have a few hd 5450s, and I was testing the performance of each one with a different vram size, Firstly, The 512mb card has two 256mb chips, 64 bit (10.8gb/s bandwidth gpuz) The 256mb card has one 256mb chip, 32 bit (5.4gb/s bandwidth gpuz) They both run at the same memory speed...

Hi everyone, I recently bought a: MSI GTX 1060 6gb Gaming X PLUS Graphics card I know that as this is the PLUS version, the memory runs at a default speed of 9000MHz. So I played around with overclocking and managed a stable +350MHz on the memory resulting in a 9700MHz memory frequency. I...

Discussion GTX 680 Lightning/Power edition overclock and bios discussion

EDIT: turning MSAA off in furmark causes the core clcok to drop to 1150MHz whatever I do, and the voltage drops to 1.15V. If I put MSAA 8x on, the voltage changes to 1.248V with 1.241MHz core frequency. I checked gpuz and the memory controller was fully loaded. The TDP was about 75% with msaa on...

Discussion GTX 680 Lightning/Power edition overclock and bios discussion

I just tried furmark and I'm pretty sure the voltage is changing: TDP goes from 95% to 105% from 1.15V to 1.2V and the tempererature rises dramatically reaching 69 degrees Celsius from 64. It was quite cool to see, when the TDP went past 100% the perfCap reason changed to power limited, I...
