whell the cpu won't bottleneck your gpu but to get 60fps you need to get your settings right, and in game the r5 will do better but not by a lot.

try putting the hdmi in your mobo just to check. you should get an output because intel has integrated graphics. if this does work try updating your Nvidia software.

also but how would a video go to your monitor?

have you tried plugging the video cabble in the mobo instead of the gpu?

What are the components? Have you looked if your bootdrive or any drive is connected? Have you looked at the psu? Are there any fans that are spinning?

is it the rgb that is lighting up? is there anything on the screen or is it blank?

but i'm probably watercooling it when I'm going to buy the blower card.
