Thank you for the tip! I tried this just now and I also booted into the BIOS (with the 2600 inserted) and manually reset the BIOS and neither option helped :-(

Yes, I can boot fully into Windows and I can access the BIOS only with the 2600 installed

I did re-flash the BIOS a few times, once when I put the 2600 back in and again with the 3700x in using the flash bios button

There is only 1 hdmi port. I did say above that I plugged in a headset to the audio out and that works fine. Thanks again for any replies!

Here's what shows under the "Playback" tab of the windows sound applet. Idk if this is interfering with hdmi video? Playback

I'm not using any audio device currently, but I've plugged headphones in and the audio out jack does work. I'm even fine without sound over hdmi if I can't get that, but I have absolutely no video output.

I forgot to include this earlier. I have tried different HDMI cables and different monitors. It works always over DVI but absolutely nothing over HDMI.
