Somehow the definition of "High Performance" was set to use only 5% on max usage. I found this out by turning my power setting to balanced and watched as my cpu went up to 100%. I have no idea how it got set otherwise, but its fixed now. Thanks!

I took out my new speakers to go try them out on a friends laptop, but when i plugged them back into my own, no sound would come out. Same with my ear buds, and other pair of speakers. This is a new custom built computer that I have been using for just under a month now, and its been working...

There is no similar way to do that in windows 8... sorry :( Still no audio :(
