my temps on my i7 6700k 4 cores is averaging 98 degrees Celsius on my task manager performance tab my cpu speed is 3.18 out of 4.0 ghz base speed main goal is to lower the temps my cpu is i7 6700k and gpu is gtx 1060 i need suggestions on what to do to fix this problem, the more the better...

i have a i7 6700k and a gtx 1060 6 gb, i mostly play CSGO, and before my fps used to cap at 300 and just remain there, nowadays my fps is averaging 150 and friends with worse cpus and gpus are getting more fps than me. what can i do to fix this? all my drivers are updated BTW

if the gpu does die, i just have to replace the GPU correct?
