So i was just wondering im looking into buying 'Genius SW-G2.1 2000 2.1CH Gaming Woofer Speaker System' and im just wondering if it would connect into my Motherboard or is there another way to connect a speaker system, not really too sure

Its for my second monitor, not an adapter , its a cable with Hdmi connection on one end and DP on the other

So i recently just bought a Displayport - HDMI cable, i have a gtx 1060 6gb and hdmi works fine, but whenever i plug my DP - HDMI cable in i cant detect any tv/monitor (ive tried plugging all into all 3 aswell and still nothing), tried upgrading to newest drivers and nothing, is it my hardware...
