So i was playing a game when my pc shut down and now my gpu is not spinning and not giving signal. Mb lights and cpu fan is spinning and even gpu lights are on too. B450m k 16gb hyperx 2666 ram Rx 480 Ryzen 5 2600 cheap lc power 600w psu I am probably getting a new psu in the next few days...

No i meant 2600 but i would like to have support for 3rd gen for future upgrade.

I bought ryzen 5 2600 and i need to choose best motherboard that can support 3rd gen ryzen without updating bios. I can currently choose betwen these: Asus AM4 prime B450M-k Gigabyte AM4 B450M S2H ASRock AM4 B450M-HDV And if nether of these cant support 3rd gen ryzen which is the best quality.

Well if you cleaned it two months ago and 8 pin conector is connected corectly you should be fine about that. so next thing you should try is installing DDU program and uninstalling all display drivers and downloading the lattest one.( just search "your gpu model"display driver )

When the fan speeds up that generally means the CPU is generating more heat, i.e. more processing. The thermistor could be bad but that would be very rare in my experience. I would look at what processes are running when the CPU starts spinning up. and install msi afterburner and see the fan...

Would be good if your could give me a bit more info about your hardware. I suspect you have overheating issue. try installing msi afterburner and monitor your temps. And also try cleaning whole pc and pay attention on parts where your hardware connects,

Yes high temperature can effect your fps dramatically but if it was going up to 90s so i would highly recommend doing what i said to make sure if that is the problem. And about the "better perfocramnce settings" i never played rdr2 but i think that settings are based on your performance while...

There is no reason to disable asus turbo boost since you are not having a heat problem. Also there is no such thing as intel drivers cpus dont need or have drivers. important thing is gpu drivers and here is a link what to install after cleaning old ones...

Well i dont realy understand what is the question here. Try running windows in safe mode and see will it work if it works install DDU and uninstall all display drivers and after that turn your pc normaly and install the latest drivers for that gpu.

I'd suspect that the USB bandwidth is being exceeded. Generally anything over about 540p gets hard to do over USB, especially if anything else is on the same USB bus. Make sure you're using USB 3.0 and try to find a USB root hub that nothing else is on.

That temperature is high for that gpu, try going in a game (rdr2) and playing for a 30 min or so and see the max temp. That could be the problem.

I would definitely go for Cooler master hyper EVO 212 it should do a decent job, i recomend not to consider Deepcool gammaxx 300. and since you mentioned new cpu, what is your budget, i would recommend ryzen 2600 or 2700. but i recommend to try what i said above and if your pc doesnt turns...

well sad to say but your gpu is probably not usable anymore. but you can get way better gpus for up to 50$ in almost any country i recommend theese hd 7850 30-40$ r7 270(x) 40-45$ with any of these you will double your gpu performance
