No the only thing that happens is the 4 led lights on the board light up and turn off (like 1 second)

It is ntec Basiq Plus 550W 80 PLUS Certified ATX12V Power Supply

No onboard graphics and unfortunately i dont know anyone i can borrow psu from and I only have MSI Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition 2GB Video Card.

My computer shut down while playing the battle field 4 beta and it wont turn on. I unplugged everything tested the power supply (with paperclip) and it worked fine but when I plugged it into the 8-pin slot on the motherboard nothing works. So did my motherboard or cpu maybe die on me?
