So that is what the 5v 3pin cables are used for? Just to cycle the rgb using software? And I can’t because i have a 12v 4pin header. But I’m assuming I don’t need it because I’m okay with using the reset switch instead…

well if I am able to control the aRGB with the reset cable that it comes with and I can control the fans using the PWM header… than what is the 5v 3pin aRGB header for than? It also has a tag on it labeled “MB SYNC” wouldn’t that cable just allow you to cycle the aRGB using software like Asus...

Are you sure the 1070 will drop down to $300-350? after the 1070 ti releases because they are currently around $400 and my budget is set to $350 or $10 more. And I kinda doubt that it will drop $100 :/
