Evga gtx 1060 6gb ssc acx3.0
$299.99

Evga gtx 1060 6gb sc
$269.99

Evga gtx 1060 6gb acx3.0
$289.99

-I don't really want the superclocked one because I've heard it has cooling/temperature/sound issues.
-Is it worth getting the ssc
rather than the 1060 6gb acx3.0 for $10 extra?

specs
Z170 pro gaming
i5 6600k
Evga 16gb 2400
Evga 650wGQ

Some articles have the 1070 dropping to $300 but I would say $329. Its really just a $50 drop i'm thinking as the 1070 was dropped to $379 when the 1080ti came out. Its mostly guess work on a price cut but it has to be enough to differentiate the the 2. This is unless Nvidia pulls the 1070 which is unlikely. Current 1070 owners would be upset with no cards to SLI.

Also this leak has the $100 on the red balloon tied to it. Maybe that pertains to the 1070 discount.

None of the above. If your willing to go as high as $299 then I suggest you wait till the 26th. The 1070ti should be out and the 1070 should slide down to $329. Pick up a 1070 that way faster with 2 more GB's video memory plus SLI support.

Are you sure the 1070 will drop down to $300-350? after the 1070 ti releases because they are currently around $400 and my budget is set to $350 or $10 more.

And I kinda doubt that it will drop $100 :/
