Question GPU is causing specific games to crashes ?

(Posting for a friend) I have a Radeon RX Vega 56 that is causing specific titles/programs to crash, namely Hearthstone. It behaves (sometimes) in most other games, though. I suspect it's a driver issue, but even after reinstalling, DDU'ing, and rolling back, the issue persists. Any ideas...

[SOLVED] Ryzen 5 3600 Overheating With an AIO!??

I have found a temporary solution. I HEAVILY underclocked the cpu (4 ghz to 3.2ghz). At idle I'm now at 55 Celsius, at full load playing destiny 2 at max settings i'm at 70 Celsius. I am beginning to suspect the cooler I got just straight up doesn't work properly anymore, as despite showing a...

[SOLVED] Ryzen 5 3600 Overheating With an AIO!??

In BIOS the aio pump is showing a value of 2100-2200 (slowly goes up and down a little). AIO hoses are oriented with the pump as low in the loop as possible (case only supports front mounting).

[SOLVED] Ryzen 5 3600 Overheating With an AIO!??

I changed out the thermal paste for a higher quality one and double-triple checked it was mounted correctly. I even tried flipping the radiator. Temps are the same. Is there a way to underclock the cpu? I'm literally just trying to play League here, not asking for much power. Motherboard is an...

[SOLVED] HELP!! New graphics card has not improved performance

It's probably one of three things, 1. Faulty drivers (use DDU to reinstall them) 2. So if you put those two RAM sticks into the CORRECT slots, it doesn't boot? Get some other ram to put in there and see if it's really the RAM, or if your Motherboard is dying. 3. Bottlenecking. Your CPU is a bit...

[SOLVED] Recording 4K Gameplay VIA Shadowplay

Hello! I often use NVIDIA's Shadowplay program to save clips when I'm gaming with friends. When I bring up the overlay prior to starting a game, it gives me the option to pick my resolution and framerate. 1440P and 2160P are available, but I don't have a very high-end monitor (1920x1080, 60 hz)...

    [SOLVED] Updating a Mobo BIOS/UEFI w/o a compatible CPU

PC services in my area are expensive as hell because there are so few of them. I know HOW to flash the BIOS but was hoping I'd be able to snag a 2nd gen ryzen cpu from a friend. Hopefully it'll just come with a fairly recent BIOS, since according to ASUS's list of updates this specific board has...

[SOLVED] Should I upgrade to the GTX 1050 ti

The fx-8350 would bottleneck a bit, but as long as you don't go crazy on CPU-heavy titles then this would be an EXCELLENT budget-friendly upgrade. I'd reccomend going with evga's or MSI's 1050 ti's though, since most are overclocked.
